The Greyhound Inn has undergone an extensive refurbishment and is the only pub in the historical Somerset village of Stogursey.
The village lies 3 miles away from the A39 and a 15 minute drive from J24 on the M5. In addition to The Greyhound Inn there is a Cafe, a post office, a general stores, primary school, sports fields, a fantastic church and a Landmark Trust Castle with a moat.
Not far away are the hamlets of Burton, Shurton and Stolford which make up the Parish of Stogursey.
Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Stations A, B and C are within easy commuting distance and continue to provide important employment in this mainly agricultural area.
We have a refurbished sports bar, hosting our darts and skittle teams..
Our front Bar & Dinning room have been recently refurbished and both have log burning fires in the winter which keeps these rooms cosy and welcoming. As well as our popular Sunday lunches and evening meals our dining area is used for a variety of events, including our regular quiz and for our live music nights
Our real ales are popular with locals, walkers and those passing through Stogursey , in addition to our well stocked bar of beers, ciders, wines, whiskey and other spirits. Teas and coffee are always available.
Our large, secure, free car park is available to our customers and those using our rooms, all can be assured of a safe parking area.
We welcome families and children in the bar up until 9.30 p.m. Family dogs are welcome too.
